Protea manufactures equipement from high grade steel S960. A prototype construction has been recently manufactured - 6m long cross-beam with lifting capacity of 15t.
It is lighter by approx. 40% compared to a similar capacity cross-beam made of standard S355 steel. Additionally higher strength allows to lift more load.
Protea has recently completed first tests of the new S960 cross-beam, which is now a part of a large portfolio of lifting equipment.
